Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has dismissed claims by singer Portable that he bit him during their recent celebrity boxing bout.
It will be recalled that the two entertainers squared off in a celebrity boxing match in Lagos, during which Portable walked out mid-fight, alleging that Okocha had bitten him on the back.
Responding in a video shared online, Okocha called the allegation implausible, noting that he had a mouthguard on throughout the contest.
He also joked that he would rather “chew grass” than bite Portable, insisting he had no such intention.
According to him, Portable had been telling people he bit him on the back, a claim he found baffling given that he was wearing a mouthguard at the time.
He quipped that he’d rather eat grass than bite Portable, saying he didn’t want to “catch rabies,” and jokingly referenced Portable’s skin as another reason he’d never attempt it.
The back-and-forth is the latest in an ongoing exchange between the two entertainers following their widely discussed boxing contest, which ended in victory for Charles Okocha.
