Nigerian rapper OdumoduBlvck has spoken about forgiveness and the tendency of people to judge others based on their mistakes, insisting that he does not see himself as an unforgiving or evil person.
The rapper made the statement while reflecting on the concept of forgiveness, drawing a comparison between human wrongdoing and the biblical story of King David.
According to OdumoduBlvck, David committed serious offences, including killing a man and taking the man’s wife, yet he was still forgiven by God.
“I’m not the devil. David k+lled someone and slept with his wife, yet God still forgave him. Whatever anyone has done, I believe I can forgive,” he said.
OdumoduBlvck’s comment highlights his belief that forgiveness should remain possible regardless of how serious a person’s actions may be. He appeared to stress that people are capable of making grave mistakes but can still seek redemption and receive forgiveness.
