Heartless Husband Swells Wife’s Eyes And Face With Heavy Punches For Using All ¢150 House Keep Money To Prepare Food

A Nigerian wife has come forward with disturbing allegations that her husband assaulted her after a dispute over ₦18,000 (equivalent to ¢155) he had given her for family food expenses, leaving her with severe facial injuries and swelling around her eyes.

According to her account, the money was meant to cover feeding costs for the family, but was spent within three days of cooking.

She alleged her husband accused her of finishing the money too quickly, and that the confrontation over the spending turned physically violent.

Video and images of her visibly swollen, bruised face have since circulated online, drawing strong concern and condemnation from viewers.

Her claims has added another layer to the troubling pattern of domestic violence cases linked to financial disputes within households, a recurring theme in similar cases reported across Nigeria in recent years, some of which have led to police intervention and prosecution once footage surfaced publicly.
