An overnight landslide in an area of Sunyani has left some residents concerned after portions of the affected area collapsed, leaving a few structures dangerously suspended.
Video and images from the scene show significant ground displacement, with rocks, debris, and soil scattered across the area following the collapse.
Some structures within the vicinity now appear to be teetering on the edge of the affected section, raising safety concerns among nearby residents.
The exact cause of the landslide has not yet been determined, though such incidents in built-up areas are often linked to unstable ground conditions, poor drainage, or recent heavy rainfall.
It is not yet clear whether any injuries occurred as a result of the collapse, or whether local authorities have been formally notified to assess the affected structures.
Residents in the area are being urged to exercise caution around the affected zone until further assessment can be carried out.
