“I Learned the Hard Way”- Businesswoman Reveals How Friends Allegedly Fuelled Her Marital Crisis

  • Businesswoman Aidah has revealed how friends allegedly influenced her during a temporary separation from her husband, including encouraging her to consider having a “side guy.”
  • She said the experience taught her to be more careful about discussing marital problems with outsiders, adding that her husband’s best friend eventually helped them reconcile.

Businesswoman Aidah has recounted how friends she confided in during a brief separation from her husband allegedly encouraged her to make decisions that could have further damaged her marriage.

Aidah said she once left her home after a heated disagreement with her husband because she feared the situation could escalate.

“I remember the first time I felt that, I told myself, instead of causing casualty at home, I’d rather walk out of this house, because when we are both angry, something bad can happen.”

She rented a place intending to stay for only one night, but her friends encouraged her to take a longer break from the marriage.

“Even marriage is exhausting. You need a break,” she recalled them telling her.

Aidah said she eventually spent two days away from home, during which her friends began offering her relationship advice. She alleged that some even encouraged her to consider having another man.

“They gave me an example that everybody needs a ‘panadol’ in their life. Every woman needs a ‘panadol’. A ‘panadol’ is a side guy.”

However, Aidah said she later discovered that some of the same friends who had consoled her were allegedly speaking negatively about her marriage behind her back.

“I learned the hard way that you don’t tell anyone your issues, because you think you are telling people to feel bad for you, but actually they are happy.”

According to her, her husband’s best friend eventually intervened and helped the couple resolve their differences. She said he spent hours speaking with both of them before they eventually reconciled.

Aidah said the experience taught her an important lesson about keeping marital problems private rather than involving outsiders.

“I learned the hard way after that betrayal, because that betrayal, so many things occurred… So I learned the hard way. And we settled, and we are good, and now I am better.”
