Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly declared his support for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of their respective political contests.
Portable, known for his outspoken personality and controversial remarks, made his position known while expressing confidence that both politicians would secure another term in office.
The singer described himself as a “political tool” and said he was proud to openly identify with politicians he believes have a strong chance of winning.
“I’m rooting for governor Adeleke & President Ahmed Tinubu, they’re winning another tenure, I’m a political tools & I am proud of it,” Portable said.
He also explained his decision to support Adeleke in Osun State, claiming that he has observed how government funds are being used and believes residents of the state are benefiting from the administration.
“I don’t support losers that’s why I’m supporting Governor Adeleke in Osun state cuz I see what they are using the money to do & the people of Osun state are happy,” he added.
Portable’s comments have since drawn attention, with his open endorsement of both Adeleke and Tinubu adding to the singer’s growing list of outspoken statements on political and social issues.
