‘I’m Publicly Denouncing Feminism’ — Woman Reveals Why She No Longer Identifies as a Feminist
A woman has announced that she is no longer a feminist, explaining that her decision was influenced by her personal experiences with her biological father and other men who have supported her.
In a Facebook post, the woman said she initially embraced feminism because she was angry with her biological father.
According to her, her experiences with her father contributed to the way she viewed men and influenced her decision to identify as a feminist.
However, she said her perspective has changed after experiencing kindness and support from several men who, in her view, stepped up for her in ways she did not receive from her father.
She explained that these positive experiences prompted her to reconsider her beliefs and ultimately distance herself from feminism.
“I’m publicly denouncing Feminism!” she wrote.
Her declaration has since sparked reactions online, with social media users sharing differing opinions about feminism, personal experiences and how individual relationships can shape people’s beliefs.
“This world is becoming too toxic for us because we are busy h@ting and fighting each other! I’m a proud pick me woman. I no do again! We are all fighting from a place of pain, I’m fighting because I was angry at my dad! But I just realized that there a million and one Good and kind men out there! My husband is one of them! He is a good man!

“When I almost d!ed in 2018 as I was about to write my Waec because appendicitis ruptured in my stomach it was men that saved me, Rev Fr Franklin Eze the principal of St. Paul’s college Eke, he paid for the Hospital bills, Still paid for my Waec!
The Doctor that operated on me , The MD of unity hospital Ngwo was a man, He Was kind, spoke to us calmly, (I mean my mom and I) He was considerate and Humanly, He even waved some bills for us when I was crying that my biological father was called to come and he told us he was on his way but never showed up till today, I was so angry, but there was a man that stood by us! Mr Arthur He carried a grown woman like me on his Back in the middle of the night cos I couldn’t walk! He was there at the hospital till we were discharged, then took us Home. While I was angry at men because my own father didn’t show up when I was sick and dying I forgot there were so many men who were there for me too..
“This is a call to my fellow women! Evil has no gender! Let’s not fight men! Let’s stand together and fight against bad people, all the bad things you think men has done to you women has done it too! Women has been found guilty of murder, kidnapping, Rape as well, robbery, Child Trafficking and Abuse, yesterday a woman stabbed her husband to death while he was sleeping! It’s bad people we ought to fight! It’s corruption we need to fight! It’s bad leaders! Insecurity! Hunger! E.t.c not ourselves! If you wipe every man in the world what happens to our sons?
