JUST IN: IPAC National Relocates Osun Chapter Election To Abuja

•Cites Security Concerns, Announces Date For Poll
The National leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has relocated the election for its Osun State Chapter to Abuja, citing the prevailing security situation in the state.
In a letter dated August 05, the National Chairman of IPAC, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle, directed all state chairmen of registered political parties in Osun and all contestants to attend the election at the council’s National Headquarters.
The notice, signed by Aare Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, National Chairman of Action Alliance, said the election will now hold on Saturday, August 8, ,2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The letter urged all concerned party leaders and contestants to “take note of this change and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.
IPAC is the umbrella body of all registered political parties in Nigeria.
