KING CHARLES DEAD?! RADIO STATION TRIGGERS FALSE ROYAL DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

SHOCK BROADCAST! Radio Caroline stunned listeners after accidentally announcing the supposed death of King Charles III, playing the national anthem and going silent for nearly 16 minutes.

The UK broadcasting watchdog, Ofcom, said the station committed a “very significant inaccuracy” and failed to correct the error promptly.

The bizarre incident happened after a staff member reportedly accessed pre-recorded files prepared for the King’s death “out of curiosity” during studio maintenance.

The employee panicked and reportedly left the premises, while the remote presenter remained unaware that the broadcast had gone wrong.

The presenter eventually apologised about 30 minutes later.

Radio Caroline said the staff member was reprimanded and the sensitive recordings have since been removed.

KING CHARLES WAS NOT DEAD — BUT RADIO CAROLINE MADE IT SOUND THAT WAY.
