Nigerian actor Kunle Omisore has revealed that his feelings for a woman can disappear once the relationship becomes too stressful for him.
The actor made the disclosure during a recent conversation with a host, explaining that he has what he described as an automatic emotional mechanism that allows him to detach from people or situations that constantly frustrate him.
According to Kunle, regardless of how much he loves someone, continued stress can make his feelings disappear without him consciously deciding to stop loving the person.
“If it stresses me, I’m done. If a king came to a feast here, if he’s going to keep stressing me, I’ve yen maa salo,” he said, explaining that he would simply walk away from the situation.
Kunle said he has an “auto-mechanism emotional motor mechanism” that automatically switches off his emotions when he becomes frustrated.
“When I say I love you, I love you. If you frustrate me, that thing will switch off unconsciously, so I don’t control it. And when it switches off, I will be like, ‘Oh, I really said I love you?’ That means it is switched off,” he said.
When the host asked whether he could really switch off his emotions that easily, the actor replied, “Just like that.”
He further explained that he does not like unnecessary stress and would rather avoid situations that disturb his peace.
“I don’t just want to be stressed. The only thing that is allowed to stress me is when I don’t have money,” Kunle.
