P-Square singer Peter Okoye has revealed another painful chapter in his long-running family dispute, alleging that some of his siblings rejected his first child and referred to the boy as a “bastard”.
Peter made the revelation while recounting how his late mother stood by him during the difficult period. According to the singer, his mother was aware of the conflict and assured him that his siblings would eventually apologise.
“When our mother was alive, she felt my pain and told me not to worry after my siblings rejected my child and called him a bâstãrd.
“I told her the child was mine, and she assured me that my siblings would eventually apologise.
“After she returned home a week later, she asked if they had apologised.
“Only our firstborn sibling did at first. A few weeks later, Henry also apologised, but Paul and Jude never did before our mother passed away.”
The revelation has added another layer to the ongoing public fallout between Peter, his twin brother Paul Okoye and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter’s comments suggest that tensions within the Okoye family existed long before the recent public dispute over P-Square’s finances and management.
