NYSC Announces September 7 Registration Date For 2026 Batch C

The National Youth Service Corps has fixed Monday, September 7 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, for the online registration of prospective corps members for the 2026 Batch C mobilization.

The scheme, in a notice issued on Friday, also made clearance from the National Education Records Database a mandatory requirement for all prospective corps members.

According to the NYSC, prospective corps members must obtain their NERD Clearance Certificate before they can begin the registration process.

The scheme advised applicants to obtain the clearance ahead of the registration period to prevent delays in their mobilization.

It warned that prospective corps members who fail to obtain the required clearance would not be able to complete their NYSC registration.

“NERD clearance is compulsory for all PCMs,” the notice stated.

The NYSC further emphasized, “No NERD clearance, no NYSC registration.”

The registration exercise will open on September 7 and close on September 13, after which eligible candidates will proceed with the subsequent stages of the mobilization process.

The scheme urged all prospective corps members for the 2026 Batch C to secure their NERD clearance early and ensure they complete their registration within the stipulated period.
