Osun Election 2026: Accord Party Agent Accuses APC Agents Of Clustering, Monitoring Voters
Tension briefly erupted at AUD Primary School, Atile, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, during the 2026 governorship election on Saturday, following complaints from some voters about the alleged clustering of political party agents around the polling area.
According to footage shared by Vangurad, Security personnel were seen intervening to prevent the situation from escalating and ensure the voting process continued without disruption.
An Accord Party agent, Ajayi Ayodele, accused agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of allegedly monitoring voters as they cast their ballots.
The allegation reportedly caused concern among some voters at the polling location, prompting security operatives to intervene and restore calm.
Despite the tension, voting continued at the polling unit under the watch of security personnel.
