Oyegoke Congratulates Adeleke, Urges Compensation For Orolu LGA Over Election Support

The Chairman and Chief Executive of Damjay Group of Companies, Otunba Jacob Adejare Oyegoke, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, describing the victory as a clear endorsement of people-oriented leadership and inclusive governance in Osun State.

Oyegoke, in a statement on Wednesday, also extended felicitations to Yeyeluwa Dupe-Sanni Adeleke and the entire Adeleke Dynasty, noting that the mandate reflects the developmental strides witnessed across the state in the last four years.

The business mogul, who is also the Otunba of Ifon-Osun, called on opposition parties to support the governor in the interest of the state.

He said unnecessary political criticism and distractions at this time would only slow down the pace of development, and urged all stakeholders to embrace unity and constructive engagement now that the people have spoken decisively.

Oyegoke also appreciated Osun State civil servants for their visible support before and during the election, saying their dedication and neutrality contributed immensely to the successful outcome.

He encouraged them to sustain the commitment so that the state can actualise its economic prospects in the shortest possible time, stressing that the prosperity of Osun depends largely on a committed and professional civil service.

He specially commended the people of Orolu Local Government Area, Ifon-Osun, for recording the highest voter turnout of 64.2% of registered voters in the 2026 governorship election.

He appealed to Governor Adeleke to appropriately compensate the people of Orolu Local Government Area.

He noted that Orolu has always given its best to the state and deserves commensurate recognition through political appointments, projects, and empowerment initiatives.

The Damjay Group boss also commended the governor for announcing a N500 million endowment fund for victims of electoral violence in the state without political discrimination.

He described the gesture as compassionate and a reflection of true leadership that reinforces the government’s commitment to justice, healing and unity across Osun State.

Oyegoke prayed that God would grant the governor wisdom, strength and divine guidance to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people in the new term.
