Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Advised To Focus On Fewer Projects

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been advised to scale back the number of professional projects and announcements they pursue, as royal commentator Kinsey Schofield argues that a more focused approach could help rebuild their credibility.
Following a series of setbacks for the couple regarding their business ventures, Schofield, host of Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered, said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have significant name recognition but have struggled to turn their public profile into sustained commercial success.
In a recent interview, Schofield said the couple should reduce the number of projects and announcements they make while focusing their efforts on one strong venture with experienced professionals.
“I would tell them to disappear professionally for a little while, dramatically reduce the number of announcements, and identify one genuinely compelling project with experienced people around them who know how to execute it,” she said.
Meghan has pursued several ventures in recent years, including her Archetypes podcast, Netflix cooking series With Love, and lifestyle brand As Ever.
Her Spotify partnership ended in 2023 after one season of the podcast, while Netflix ended its partnership with her in March.
Schofield argued that concentrating on fewer projects could help the couple rebuild their credibility.
“When you try to establish authority in every category simultaneously, you can end up establishing authority in none of them,” she said. “Pick a lane, become good at it and allow success to rebuild credibility.”
