New Poll Reveals Americans Demand Answers As Natalie Harp’s Closeness With Donald Trump Raises Eyebrows

Natalie Harp, special assistant to U.S. President Donald Trump, has become the subject of growing public curiosity as questions mount about the extent of her influence in the White House.
Whether on official duties or at golf outings, the 35-year-old California native is frequently spotted near Trump and is often responsible for managing the information he receives.
A poll has now emerged, suggesting that a great number of the American public believe some questions need answering and are looking closely at Natalie Harp’s rise from media personality to the president’s inner circle.
A poll carried out by the Daily Mail and JL Partners has highlighted America’s growing interest surrounding Harp and her position.
Their findings revealed that 42 percent of over a thousand registered voters said that they believed more questions about Harp needed to be answered.
22 percent of those voters were reported to be completely satisfied with what they already knew, while the remaining 36 percent were not sure that they needed to know more.
The figures also showed how the political landscape feels about Harp and Trump’s closeness.
Among participants who were Democrats, 58 percent said they wanted more information; only 13 percent didn’t need to know anything else.
Compared to that, only 29 percent of republicans had questions, while 35 percent didn’t care to ask any. The independents’ numbers are 37 percent needing answers and 17 percent not having any questions.
The renewed attention on the executive assistant comes after weeks of speculation surrounding her presence beside Trump and in the White House.
Americans are curious as to how a relatively not well-known media personality became one of the people frequently seen around the president.
Natalie Harp’s Journey From Cancer Survivor To Trump Aide
4Harp first attracted attention in connection with the president through her personal account of surviving cancer.
According to The Washington Post, Harp publicly credited Trump’s “Right to Try” legislation with helping her get access to the experimental treatment she needed after a bone cancer diagnosis.
She later appeared at the 2020 Republican National Convention where she delivered a speech praising Trump for his generosity.
“They didn’t give me the right to try experimental treatments, Mr. President. You did, and without you, I’d have died waiting for them to be approved,” she said at the time.
However, Trump’s role in her health recovery is disputed by experts, who questioned whether the legislation had anything to do with the treatment she received.
People Magazine reported that Harp worked for One America News Network for two years before she joined Trump’s political operation.
Her presence around the 80-year-old started to become increasingly frequent during his 2024 campaign.
She was nicknamed Trump’s “human printer” due to her habit of carrying around a portable printer so she could easily and quickly provide the president with printed articles and social-media posts because that’s the way he prefers it.
Why Natalie Harp Draws Attention More Than Other Presidential Aides
4Harp’s official White House designation is special assistant to the president and executive assistant to the president.
She reportedly has a salary of $150,000 and works closely with President Trump. The 35-year-old is said to be the White House aide with the most access to the president’s Truth Social account.
People cited a book by New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan that portrayed Harp as an unusually devoted aide.
The book described “adoring letters” Harp allegedly left for Trump in private spaces. In one of them, she reportedly said, “you are all that matters to me.”
Harp’s fondness for the president and devotion to him is something the president acknowledges.
Trump was recorded in the journalist’s book as saying, “All of you will go off and make money; she’ll never leave me.”
Natalie Harp Is A Constant Around Donald Trump
4Harp has continued to appear alongside the president. The Daily Beast reported that she has no off days and remains a regular during Trump’s golf outings and other travel.
The executive assistant who considers Trump her “guardian and protector in this Life” was recently shown accompanying him during his Labor Day weekend activities at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
She was also spotted boarding Marine One alongside Him as they traveled.
Her closeness to the president and his own comfort around her is precisely why she has generated so much attention and why Americans are asking questions.

One major name that has also come up due to Harp’s closeness to Trump is the president’s wife, Melania. The first lady has been largely absent from the public eye and has made only a few appearances alongside her husband since he began his second term.
Ex-deputy White House press secretary, Sarah Matthews, even commented on Melania’s lowkey outings, suggesting that her recent Rose Garden return was suspicious and seemingly linking it to the attention on her husband’s close bond with his aide, Harp.
“But I have to admit that the timing is a little suspect with all of the Natalie Harp things happening in the news,” she said per the Daily Beast.
Matthews further noted that the first lady was not happy with reports about Harp’s closeness to the president. Harp also seemed to make herself less present whenever Melania was around.
This dynamic echoes past speculation linking her presence to the first lady’s public absences, a claim that had been made by Trump biographer Michael Wolff.
The author previously noted that “Since Harp was always around, Melania never was—appearing with her husband only in the last week of the campaign.”
Ultimately, Matthews’ observations have renewed discussions regarding Melania’s eyebrow-raising approach to her role compared to past first ladies.
