“If You’re Still Doing Ratels In 2026, You’re Very Dumb”-Man Criticises Nigerians

- A Nigerian man criticized individuals involved in “Ratels” activities online.
- He emphasized the importance of political participation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
- The man questioned the focus of some Nigerians on non-political activities during this crucial time.
A Nigerian man has sparked a conversation online after criticising people who engage in “Ratels” activities, arguing that more attention should be given to political participation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In his reaction, the man questioned why some Nigerians were focused on other activities instead of using the approaching election period to promote candidates they believe can bring positive change to the country.
He also referenced social media activist VeryDarkMan, suggesting that in a properly functioning country, the activist would not have to take it upon himself to call out individuals over various issues.
“If, in 2026, you are still doing Ratels, you are very d^mb. Assuming we had a working country, we wouldn’t have someone like VeryDarkMan stressing himself by calling people out. Now that the election is near, instead of coming out to promote a candidate of your own choice, you people are busy doing something else,” he said.
His comments have drawn attention to the role of social media activities, public accountability and political engagement as Nigeria prepares for the 2027 elections.
