Turkey: Parrott snubbed Galatasaray because he refused to play second fiddle to Osimhen – Reporter, Küçük

Galatasaray reporter, Ali Naci Küçük has revealed that Troy Parrott didn’t join Galatasaray because he refused to be a second-choice player behind Victor Osimhen.

Küçük stated this on the 343 Digital YouTube channel while sharing information regarding the Parrott transfer.

Parrott was one of the names that Galatasaray was considering for a striker transfer.

The Irish striker later joined Real Betis from AZ Alkmaar this summer.

The 24-year-old signed a contract with the Spanish club until June 2031.

“Troy Parrott’s cost was also around 20 million Euros, but the player said, ‘I won’t be the second-choice player, I won’t come behind Osimhen!’ and that’s why he went to Real Betis,” Küçük said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
