A student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Portia Boah, has died following what has been reported as complications from a food poisoning incident that dates back to her final year in senior high school.
According to a narration attributed to Portia before her death, a friend had brought food from home during their time in SHS and shared it with her and another student.
Portia reportedly became seriously ill after eating the food and later recounted the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Her death has since drawn attention online, with many expressing shock and sadness over the tragic turn of events.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain subject to further investigation, and official findings on the exact cause are yet to be released.
