Trageel suggested that he and others who supported the governor may have been used for publicity, expressing disappointment over Adeleke’s reported political stance.
He also speculated that the governor’s next political move could be to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC), given his decision to support Tinubu.
In his words:
“Gov Adeleke, Na God go punish you. After you made me use boxers to dance for you, to celebrate you, you’re now saying you’ll support Tinubu in the next election. You don use us catch cruise and we know the next thing for you is to move to APC.”
