According to reports circulating online, the young man was allegedly instructed by a spiritual leader, described as his “grandmaster,” to carry out the act in exchange for gaining wealth.
Driven by desperation, he reportedly went ahead with the instruction and attempted to bury his mother.
However, his alleged plan was reportedly discovered before it could be completed. Residents, popularly known as area boys, are said to have rushed to the scene after becoming aware of what was happening.
In a video circulating online, the young man is seen surrounded by a crowd who reportedly ordered him to uncover the grave and bring out his mother.
The atmosphere appeared tense as residents questioned him over the reason behind such an alleged act.
