A Zenith Bank employee popularly known on TikTok as GRWM Becca has sparked conversations online after reportedly being asked to resign over videos she created while at work.
According to reports, the staff member first received a query in 2022 after posting a TikTok video joking about a salary increase. Although she apologised and was reinstated, she was later warned against creating content in the workplace.
Despite the warnings, reports claim she continued filming inside the bank, including a 2026 office vlog, prompting her to delete the videos and stop recording at work. On July 23, her branch manager reportedly requested that she resign. She has also reportedly appeared before the bank’s disciplinary committee on previous occasions.
The development has reignited discussions about social media use in highly regulated industries. Banking remains one of the most regulated sectors due to the sensitive nature of customer information, with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines prohibiting the unauthorised recording of sensitive areas within banking premises.
