A Nigerian lady has expressed frustration over the country’s persistent electricity challenges after she reportedly lost a major gig due to a lack of power supply.

The lady took to social media to voice her disappointment, questioning why access to electricity remains a major challenge in Nigeria despite the country being in 2026.

According to her, issues that should ordinarily be easy to resolve have continued to become significant obstacles for Nigerians trying to work and earn a living.

Expressing her frustration, she said, “I h@te Nigeria so much. Little things that should not be a problem are a big issue in this country. Why is electricity still hard to get in 2026? I am frustrated and tired.”

Her complaint has highlighted the difficulties many Nigerians face when unreliable electricity affects their businesses, jobs and other opportunities.

The loss of the major gig reportedly left the lady disappointed, as she blamed the situation on the lack of electricity needed to carry out the work.

Hate the government that has kept us poor, backwards and underdeveloped since Independence but worse since 2015 when APC took over. Hate those that will aggressively defend, support and even vote for the evil party again in exchange for 2k. Sorry Lady, Nigeria is didn’t fail you, the system failed you. Hate the system!”
