Jehovah Witness Members Make Sharp U-turn After Arriving At Man’s Residence To Preach Only To See Him Holding Machete To Butcher Them
A group of Jehovah’s Witnesses making their rounds within a residential neighbourhood had their outreach visit cut abruptly short after arriving at a man’s home and finding him standing at the door holding a machete.
According to the account of the encounter, the group had approached the compound as part of their usual door-to-door ministry, only to be met by the homeowner emerging to receive them while still clutching the tool in hand.
Whether he intended it as a simple oversight, having perhaps been in the middle of yard work or some other task before answering the door, remains unclear, but the sight was enough to visibly unsettle his visitors.
Footage of the moment shows the group freezing in place upon spotting the machete, clearly caught off guard and uncertain how to proceed.
After a brief pause, they chose not to press forward with the visit, instead turning around and making their way back out of the compound just moments later.
The clip has since drawn a wave of amused reactions online, with many joking about how quickly the group’s evangelising enthusiasm evaporated at the sight of the blade, while others speculated about what the man might have been doing just before opening the door.
Whether the encounter was simply an unfortunate coincidence of timing or something more deliberate remains unknown, but it has certainly given social media users plenty to laugh about since the video began circulating.
