Olayinka shared his reaction on Instagram on Saturday, September 13, 2026, focusing on the reported value of the designer bag.
According to him, the Hermès bag seen with Obi’s wife is worth £131,938.81, which he estimated to be more than N250 million.
The FCT minister’s aide suggested that the sighting contradicted the image of Obi as a modest and frugal politician.
Sharing a photo from the video, Olayinka wrote:
