Mavin Records has distanced itself from talent manager Lotanna Harry, warning the public against dealing with him as a representative of the record label.
In a legal notice issued by Mavin’s Legal Affairs department on September 10, 2026, and published on Wednesday, the company said Harry had never been appointed or authorised to represent it in any capacity.
Mavin said its only known association with Harry was his engagement as a paid video model on a subcontract basis for selected productions.
The label alleged that Harry had been using its logo and presenting himself as an authorised representative. It subsequently warned members of the public and its business partners not to rely on any negotiations, transactions, communications or other representations he might make while claiming to act for or be associated with the company.
According to Mavin, any dealings undertaken on the basis of such purported authority would be unauthorised and would not create an obligation or liability for the company.
The record label also cautioned individuals who choose to engage with Harry based on his claimed association with Mavin that they would do so at their own risk.
Mavin added that it reserves the right to pursue legal action against Harry or anyone else it believes may be involved in the unauthorised use of its name, logo or business interests.
The notice was accompanied by Harry’s photograph as the label sought to make its warning clear to the public and business partners.
