A 33-year-old Nigerian man based in Canada has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged s@xual ass&ult of two females in separate incidents in Brampton, Ontario.
Olusegun Onidare is facing two counts of sexual assault and breach of a probation order.
According to Peel Regional Police, both incidents occurred on Monday, August 31.
In the first incident, a woman in her 20s was shopping at a mall in the Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard area when the suspect allegedly approached and assaulted her.
Later that same day, an underage girl waiting at a transit terminal in the Central Park Drive and Queen Street East area was allegedly approached by the same suspect, who engaged her in conversation before assaulting her.
Following a public appeal for information, a member of the public recognized Onidare from a previous police release and contacted investigators, leading to his arrest.
Police confirmed that Onidare, described as having no fixed address, was taken into custody. He was being held pending a bail hearing as of Wednesday.
