“See You Again When You Are Ready” – Arise TV Ends Interview With Wike’s Aide After He Refuses To Answer Rufai Oseni’s Questions

- Nyesom Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, has been removed from an Arise TV interview after a heated exchange with presenter Rufai Oseni.
- The interview was discontinued after Olayinka reportedly refused to answer Rufai’s questions and instead directed an insult at the presenter, prompting another host to intervene and end the session.
Nyesom Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, has clashed with Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni during a live edition of The Morning Show, leading to the abrupt end of his interview.
The tension reportedly started after Rufai Oseni asked Olayinka a question during the programme, but the media aide declined to answer and instead dismissed the presenter in a heated response.
Olayinka reportedly described Rufai as not being a reasonable human being, prompting another presenter, Ayo Mairo, to intervene and caution him against insulting his colleague.
Mairo reportedly told Olayinka that if he was unwilling to answer the questions, there was no need to continue with the interview.
The situation escalated as the discussion became tense, with the Arise TV team eventually discontinuing the interview and asking Olayinka to leave the discussion.
As the session came to an end, the programme hosts told him, “See you again when you are ready to speak to the three of us.”
The incident has since gone viral on social media, with Nigerians sharing different opinions about the confrontation and whether Olayinka was right to reject Rufai’s questions.
Some users praised the media aide for standing his ground, while others criticised him for refusing to face scrutiny during a live interview.
