A Nigerian prophetess has advised tenants who have spent several years living in rented apartments to consider moving to a new home if they are unable to build their own houses.
According to the cleric, remaining in the same rented apartment for too long could potentially have an impact on a person’s experiences and circumstances.
She encouraged her members to consider changing their environment after spending between eight and nine years in the same apartment, particularly if they have yet to own a house.
The prophetess said: “As long as you’re a tenant in somebody’s apartment, 8 to 9 years is okay to look for another house if you’re not able to build your own. Where you live for a long time can be a problem with what you’re passing through.”
Her advice has sparked conversations about the importance of changing one’s environment, especially among people who have lived in rented accommodation for many years.
