Nigerian content creator and social media personality Oloba Salo has taken a swipe at controversial singer Portable, criticising the artiste over his career trajectory, business decisions and recent comments about fellow musician Zlatan.
Salo made the remarks while addressing Portable in a statement that has since attracted attention from social media users.
He questioned Portable’s achievements in the Nigerian music industry, claiming that the singer had been given opportunities to succeed but had failed to make the most of them.
“You’re the only Nigerian artiste that have glory but failed. You’re shading Zlatan that will buy you and your generation. You’re the only person who opened a bar but doesn’t sell Hennessy. Skepta featured you but you’re booked for clubs,” Salo said.
His comments appeared to reference Portable’s previous exchanges with Zlatan, as well as the singer’s international collaboration with British rapper Skepta.
