“APC Government Has Mastered The Art Of Deception” – Lady Slams Tinubu Over 30-Day Fuel Discount

  • A Nigerian woman has accused the APC-led Federal Government of offering temporary relief measures ahead of elections rather than addressing the country’s underlying problems.
  • Reacting to the 30-day fuel discount and referencing NELFUND, she urged Nigerians to obtain their PVCs and vote wisely.

A Nigerian woman has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of deceiving Nigerians with temporary relief measures, questioning the timing of the Federal Government’s 30-day fuel discount ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In her reaction to the initiative, she argued that the government creates problems and later introduces short-term measures, expecting Nigerians to applaud it.

“APC government has mastered the art of deception. Tell me why they create problems and later come up with temporary solutions, expecting Nigerians to applaud them. For the past three years, they have removed fuel subsidy, but now that another election is approaching, they have introduced a 30-day fuel discount. The same applies to NELFUND,” she said.

The Federal Government recently announced a 30-day petrol discount at NNPC Retail stations, with the company stating that the reduction is funded by its retail margin and does not represent a return to fuel subsidy.

The woman urged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and vote wisely in the coming election.

Her remarks have sparked reactions on X, with some users accusing the government of seeking votes through temporary relief, while others described the discount as a short-term palliative rather than a lasting solution.
