From Homelessness to China: Honeytreat Boss Reflects on Life, Gratitude and Triumph

Samson Olukayode Akanni Soyebi, founder of Honeytreat Group, has shared an emotional reflection on his journey from hardship to success, expressing profound gratitude to the people who supported him along the way.

In a heartfelt message written aboard his flight to China, Soyebi recalled the sacrifices, kindness, prayers and encouragement of people who stood by him during some of the most difficult moments of his life.

He said the journey brought tears to his eyes as he remembered those who opened doors for him, provided meals when hunger became unbearable, worked tirelessly in the hope of a better future and continued to pray for him in silence.

According to him, his achievements are not the result of personal effort alone but also the product of the love, guidance, mentorship and support he received from others.

“This trip reminded me that dreams truly do come true. I did not just get here. I was led. I was supported. I was helped. I was tutored. I was mentored,” he wrote.

He prayed for everyone who had contributed to his journey, expressing the hope that their own positive aspirations would also become reality.

Soyebi paid tribute to his late father, his mother and his siblings, acknowledging their sacrifices and expressing gratitude that their efforts in raising and supporting him had yielded results.

He also showered encomiums on his wife, Amope, describing her as the woman who taught him how to love and remained deeply rooted in his heart.

Acknowledging that he had disappointed her at different times, Soyebi admitted his imperfections and reaffirmed his enduring love for her.

“I love you till eternity. You taught me how to love, and I am grateful I met you,” he said.

Addressing his sons, Obaayomide, Ireayomide, Olaayomiposi and Imoleayo, the Honeytreat boss encouraged them to keep building, growing and taking their family story to the world.

He urged them to preserve the story of their father’s journey, describing himself as a once-homeless man whom God helped overcome life’s challenges.

“Tell this story to your children, and to the children of your children,” he charged them.

Soyebi also expressed appreciation to the team at Honeytreat Group and the company’s partners, describing them as invaluable to the organisation’s growth and praying for continued progress and blessings for everyone associated with the business.

Beyond his personal reflection, he used the opportunity to promote the group’s services, including its official website, Honeytreat Group, its healthcare application, QwikCare, and SurDrive, its navigation, fleet management and e-hailing platform.

His message ended with a Sunday greeting and a note of gratitude to everyone who had played a role in his journey.

Soyebi’s reflection serves as a reminder that behind many success stories are unseen sacrifices, acts of kindness, prayers and people who believe in a dream long before the world recognises it.
