Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has issued a strong warning to Nigerian youths ahead of the 2027 general elections, cautioning them against engaging in ballot box snatching.

The founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) made the statement while speaking about the need for Nigerians to approach the next election differently.

Chinyere warned youths against allowing themselves to be used by politicians to disrupt the electoral process, insisting that the era of ballot box snatching should come to an end.

According to the cleric, politicians who encourage young people to engage in electoral violence should instead involve their own children in such acts.

He said:

“To all Nigerian youths, in the 2027 election, if you go near any ballot box just to snatch it, you will d!e. 2027 will no longer be like previous elections because Nigerians are tired. The era of ballot box snatching is over. How long will Nigerians continue f00ling themselves and allowing politicians to f0ol them? They have children, and their children are abroad. They should bring their children to snatch ballot boxes for them.”

The cleric’s comments have drawn attention online, particularly his call for youths to avoid being used as tools for electoral disruption.

His warning comes as discussions around the 2027 elections continue to generate public interest, with concerns about electoral violence and the role of young Nigerians in the political process remaining prominent.
