Nigerian singer Skales has reacted to a viral video featuring Apostle Arome Osayi, founder of Remnant Christian Network (RCN), in which the clergyman recounted an alleged supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ in heaven.
Skales shared his reaction on X on October 4, 2026, expressing concern over what he described as the way some religious claims are being received by members of the public.
Reacting to the viral clip, the singer wrote:
“something has to be done to regulate this folks… they are making the gospel look like a joke… people actually believe this lies?”
In the video making the rounds online, Apostle Arome Osayi narrated what he described as a heavenly encounter involving himself and 13 other people.
According to the preacher, they were taken to heaven, where they encountered Jesus Christ standing beside a table containing several scrolls.
Arome explained that each scroll represented an anointing that had previously been carried by another person.
He claimed that when it was his turn, he approached Jesus and received a scroll bearing the name of the late renowned Christian teacher, Derek Prince, who was widely known for his teachings on deliverance.
The clergyman said the experience marked the beginning of a global spiritual mandate focused on deliverance. He further claimed that the authority associated with the mandate became evident whenever he ministered, particularly in encounters involving demonic forces.
Apostle Arome also recounted that after the other individuals had received their respective scrolls and departed, Jesus allegedly called him back separately.
The account has since generated reactions online, with Skales among those questioning the testimony and its reception by members of the public.

@bash22333:”The man no Dey even vex me reach the people wey really siddown Dey see the truth Dey ignore am and believe the lieeeessssss😭😭”
@ihunanya_chiii:”Read the Bible and get to know God for yourself. Look at John’s experience when he encountered the glorified Jesus. This is the same John who had walked with Jesus, knew Him personally, and even leaned on His shoulder. Yet when John saw the risen and glorified Christ, he fell at His feet as though dead. That is a completely different experience. So when I hear this pastor casually talk about ‘seeing Jesus’ as though he were just an ordinary man standing before him, I become very cautious. Know Scripture. Test what people say against the Word of God. Don’t let anyone’s claimed spiritual experience replace what the Bible teaches.”
@kingydavies:”Skales, the fact that you don’t believe in encounters doesn’t mean it is not real. How then do you claim to know the Lord and believe in Jesus when you haven’t met Him? So there were no encounters at your salvation?”
