A Nigerian lady, Stella Gbadeyan, has shared the unusual story of how she fell in love with her phone repair technician, Solomon Segun, as the couple prepares to tie the knot.
Stella revealed that their relationship began when Solomon, who was fixing her phone, unexpectedly asked her to become his wife despite barely knowing her at the time.
According to her, she was initially angry and shocked by his direct marriage proposal, insisting that she could never marry someone who was practically a stranger and also her service provider.
However, Solomon remained persistent and demonstrated how serious he was about his intentions. Although he was not initially her ideal type, his character and determination gradually changed her perception of him.
Stella explained that she later prayed about the relationship and eventually developed feelings for him. What started as an unexpected encounter between a customer and her phone repair technician has now blossomed into a relationship that will soon lead to marriage.
Sharing their love story alongside their pre-wedding announcement, she wrote:
“It all started from being my phone engineer to ‘please be my wife’. So straight and direct, not even like let’s be friends like most relationships start with 😂.
At first, I was so mad at him, that how will you tell a customer, a mere stranger to be your wife? Guess my response 🫣… ‘I can’t be your wife and will never marry you.’
He was so intentional, knew what he wanted, and went for it, so persistent because he knew it was part of God’s plan. I prayed about it and I started falling for him 🫣🫣… not my spec like I do tell my roommate, start changing to, the guy is nice, he’s not bad 😂😂😂.
I’m so glad we made the right decision ✅ And am so happy to walk this path with him 😍.
As God will have it, we’ll soon be saying ‘I DO’ to forever ✅.
