ICE Arrests Nigerian Man In US Over Child Molestation Record

United States immigration authorities have arrested a 53-year-old Nigerian national, Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, in Los Angeles over past convictions linked to child molestation and other sex offences.
The Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) unit in Los Angeles disclosed the arrest on Friday via its official X account, stating that Olusanjo was taken into custody on April 21, 2026.
According to the agency, the suspect has a criminal history that includes child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct.
“Olusanjo has previous arrests for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct. He is currently in ICE custody pending removal,” the statement said.
A video accompanying the announcement showed the suspect in handcuffs being escorted from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle and taken into custody.
In the footage, a narrator identified Olusanjo as a Nigerian citizen and described him as a “criminal illegal alien and convicted sex offender,” reiterating details of his criminal record.
Authorities confirmed that he remains in ICE custody as removal proceedings continue.
