According to him, the donation was a personal decision rooted in his beliefs about giving and spirituality.

“Not to brag but I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made N102 million from artist’s fee lately. Not in my whole career but just of recent,” he said.

Zubby Michael added that instead of paying tithe to a church, he chose to give directly to the less privileged.

“I donated N10.2 million, which is 10 per cent of the money to the needy on the street. I don’t pay tithe to the church. I don’t go to the church. I don’t believe in paying tithe to the church,” he stated.

His comments have sparked mixed reactions, particularly around the concept of tithing and how it should be practised.

While some supporters praised his generosity and direct approach to helping those in need, others questioned his stance on traditional religious practices.

The actor’s remarks also tap into a broader debate about the purpose of tithing, whether it should be given strictly through religious institutions or can be extended directly to individuals in need.

For many, Zubby Michael’s approach reflects a more personal and humanitarian interpretation of giving.

Known for his bold personality and outspoken views, the actor has never shied away from sharing his opinions on wealth, success, and lifestyle.

His latest disclosure adds to ongoing discussions about how celebrities use their influence and resources to impact society.

As reactions continue to pour in, the conversation highlights differing perspectives on faith, charity, and the responsibility that comes with financial success.
