AAC Candidate, Akinsulere, Pledges People-Oriented Representation For Ondo West Constituency II

Akinsulere Segun Akinshola, the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate for Ondo West Constituency 11 in the 2027 Ondo State House of Assembly election has pledged a People-Oriented representation if elected.

Speaking through a statement released by his media office on Sunday, Akinsulere expressed gratitude to party members and supporters for the confidence reposed in him by electing me as the candidate for the forthcoming general election in 2027.

He stressed that the people of Ondo West deserve a new style of leadership built on transparency, development, and genuine public service.

He maintained that as a finance professional and entrepreneur, with education background ABachelor of Science degree from Adekunle Ajasin University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Lagos, his academic and professional background had shaped his understanding of governance, public finance, and the role of effective legislation in promoting economic development.

According to him, “The people of Ondo West deserve more than political promises. Our people deserve representation that listens, leadership that is accountable, and legislation that directly improves their standard of living.

“For too long, many citizens have felt disconnected from government. My mission is to bridge that gap and ensure that the voices of our people are represented where decisions are made.

“We cannot continue to recycle the same style of politics while expecting different results.

“The time has come for a people-driven movement that prioritises public welfare, economic opportunities, and responsible governance.

“Our youths are not liabilities; they are assets. We must enact laws and support initiatives that equip them with skills, opportunities, and an enabling environment where they can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

“Public office is a responsibility, not a privilege. If elected, I will remain accessible, transparent, and committed to the aspirations of the people of Ondo West.

“Our Future, My Priority’ is not just a campaign slogan, it is a commitment to accountable leadership, effective representation, and a better future for every resident of Ondo West Constituency II.

“This campaign is about the people of Ondo West. Together, we can build a constituency where opportunity, accountability, and development are not campaign promises, but lived realities.”
