The Head of the Civil Service (HOS) of the Federation Mrs Didi Esther walson-Jack, has commended the developmental stride of Governor Monday Okpebholo since his assumption of office on November 12th, 2024.
The HOS who was in Edo State to launch a book, titled “Rebuilding the Nigerian Civil Service: A Reformer’s Perspective” written by the Edo State HOD Dr. Anthony Osas Okungbowa
Mrs. walson-Jack who paid a courtesy visit to the Governor
commended him for his developmental stride in Edo State, noting that his people oriented programes will positively affect the people positively.
“We are here early in the day to attend the public presentation of a book written by the Head of Service of Edo State Dr. Anthony Osas Okungbowa.
“I am happy to see Edo State and the developmental stride that the Governor Monday Okpebholo has embarked upon. I am hoping to see the flyover bridge that is still under construction and look forward to coming back to Edo State to interact”
Commending the Head of service of Edo State Dr. Anthony Osas Okungbowa for his dedication and partnership with the governor in transforming Edo State and the state civil service.
She noted that the Edo HOS is doing very well and working assiduously with us on our collaboration with States Civil Services across the Federation.
Governor Monday Okpebholo who received the HOS of the Federation thanked her for her visit to the State and the gift she presented to .
“I welcome you to Edo State and I am very sorry out of my busy schedule I was not able to attend the book launch held in the State today.
“I am happy to see you and I admired you from afar. I am happy for the present you brought to me as I am overwhelmed especially with the book presentation which is very impressive.
“You have said so much about Edo State which is fun and we are grateful and you should not be intimidated about Edo State.
“We appreciate you for your coming to Edo State, you have been doing well in your duties as head of service of the Federation. My Head of service is taking after you and if my Head of service is doing well as a professional in his duties, I am sure you are super professional in your job”, he concluded.
