Prince Miaphen Donates Medical Equipment to Plateau Communities, Expresses Support for Tinubu

Former National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Prince Miaphen, has donated medical equipment, essential drugs and healthcare consumables to Primary Healthcare Centres in Qua’an Pan and Shendam Local Government Areas of Plateau State to support grassroots healthcare delivery.
Speaking during the presentation, Miaphen said the intervention was aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services and complementing ongoing efforts by the federal and state governments to strengthen healthcare delivery in local communities. He also expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, commending the government’s efforts in infrastructure development, education, rural development and youth empowerment.
According to Miaphen, Qua’an Pan and Shendam were selected as the first beneficiaries of a broader healthcare support programme expected to expand across Plateau South Senatorial District and other parts of the state. “This is only the beginning. We hope to attract more healthcare facilities, equipment and interventions to communities across the state,” he said.
The donation was welcomed by community leaders, healthcare workers and local government officials, who described the intervention as a valuable contribution to healthcare services in the benefiting communities. Representing the Chairman of Shendam Local Government Council, Deputy Chairman Hon. Paul Goeboro commended the initiative and noted the importance of partnerships and community support in strengthening healthcare systems.
Officials and community representatives in Qua’an Pan also praised the donation, highlighting its potential impact on healthcare delivery and patient care.The donated items included an ECG machine, hospital beds, wheelchairs, blood pressure monitors, laboratory packs, delivery kits, autoclave sterilisers, antimalarial drugs, antibiotics, antihypertensive medications and other healthcare consumables.
