Anambra Police Celebrate ACP Anabuike’s Promotion, Urge Youths To Embrace Policing Career

The Anambra State Police Command has applauded the decoration of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Nnamdi Anabuike from Nnewi North Local Government Area, describing the achievement as a major milestone capable of inspiring more young people in the state to pursue careers in the Nigeria Police Force.

The Command said the promotion reflects the growing interest of Anambra youths in policing and demonstrates that dedication, discipline and professionalism are rewarded within the Force.

ACP Anabuike was decorated at the Nigeria Police Force Zone 13 Headquarters on July 24, 2026, by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 13, AIG Godwin Iguh Eze, PSC (+).

In a statement issued on Saturday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command described the promotion as a proud moment not only for Nnewi North but for the entire state, noting that it highlights the opportunities available to committed officers in the Force.

According to the statement, the achievement is expected to motivate more youths across Anambra to see policing as a noble profession dedicated to safeguarding lives and property, promoting justice, and contributing to national development.

The Command congratulated ACP Anabuike on his elevation and wished him continued success in his service to the nation.

It also urged young people in the state to remain focused, uphold integrity, and take advantage of opportunities within the Nigeria Police Force to build fulfilling careers in public service.
