“He Must Apologise”- Ossai Success Slams VeryDarkMan Over Comments On Pastor Adeboye

- Ossai Ovie Success, called for an apology from social media activist VeryDarkMan to Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
- The request follows controversial comments made by Otse about the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
- Ossai warned that disrespecting Pastor Adeboye could result in “spiritual consequences.”
A media aide to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has urged social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, to tender an apology to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, following his recent comments about the cleric.
In a strongly worded post shared online, Ossai cautioned that disrespecting Pastor Adeboye could lead to what he described as “spiritual consequences.”
He insisted that VeryDarkMan was wrong to criticise the revered cleric, stressing that Adeboye is devoted to praying for Nigeria and not involved in partisan or political matters.
“I have called on Very Dark Man to apologize to Pastor E.A. Adeboye, but he is proving difficult,” he said.
“He may think he is building clout with his followers by attacking spirituality and dragging a man of God. But there are lines you do not cross.”
Ossai further stated, “You cannot be rude to an iroko tree and expect to live long.”
According to him, Pastor Adeboye has done nothing wrong and is often misunderstood whenever he does not publicly align with political expectations or national debates.
“Pastor Adeboye is of God. He is not holding brief for any man or political camp. He is standing in the gap for the nation before God,” he added.
He also claimed that critics have, over time, unfairly targeted the cleric without justification.
“History is clear: Satan has used many people to insult Baba Adeboye for no just cause,” he said.
Ossai warned that insulting a “true servant of God” could carry spiritual repercussions, while expressing disappointment in the activist.
He concluded by urging VeryDarkMan to retract his statements and apologise, saying, “I am genuinely disappointed in Very Dark Man. He should apologize to Pastor Adeboye and retrace his steps.”
