A young Nigerian woman who works as a makeup artist has broken down in tears in a viral video, regretting her decision to leave the country. She said the reality she met outside Nigeria is not what people told her before she travelled.

In the emotional video making rounds on social media, the lady spoke in Pidgin English: “I am a make up artist oh, I left it. I’m supposed to do my clearance and go back for HND. I know say money no dey there, nai make I come here, come find money, but all these things na lie, them they lie. Before you leave your country go any place, check well. I just want to go back to my country, I just want to go back to Nigeria because wetin I dey see no be wetin they tell me.” watch video here

She explained that she left her business in Nigeria to travel abroad in search of better money. She planned to finish some clearance and return for her Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, but things did not go as expected. Many people had told her that money flows everywhere abroad, but she discovered it was all lies.
