Nigerian dancer, singer and content creator Korra Obidi has playfully responded to claims that she returns to Nigeria to “renew her juju,” revealing that the real source of her energy is the love of her family.
Sharing stunning new photos from her visit to Nigeria, Korra reflected on the warmth she experiences whenever she returns home, saying it is the kind of love that inspires her creativity and leaves her feeling renewed.
“Someone told me I glow differently in the motherland,” she wrote.
“I am surrounded by real love beyond comprehension.”
Addressing the light-hearted speculation surrounding her frequent visits, the entertainer joked that people often believe she comes back home for spiritual reasons.
“They said I come home too often because I am renewing my Juju. Yes. They are right,” she wrote before adding the heartfelt explanation. “My juju is my family’s love.”
According to Korra, being surrounded by loved ones gives her strength, fuels her creativity, and restores her energy in ways that nothing else can.
“The love is warm and makes me create more. It gives me energy,” she said.
The entertainer also shared a deeply personal reflection while admiring one of the photos from the shoot, saying she was struck by how much she resembled her late mother.
“In this photo, I look like my late mom so much, it’s actually scary,” she wrote.
