Following the second term victory at the polls of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, organised labour has concluded the plan to celebrate the victory.
A directive issued and signed by the chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Osun State chapter and sighted by LEADERSHIP directed retirees and workers to make themselves available for the rally Monday.
Osun’s Organised labour had endorsed Adeleke for a second term tenure and pledged their solidarity to him before the election.
The signed invitation read in part, “The Osun State Organised Labour hereby direct all workers and pensioners to be present tomorrow at Monday 17th August, for a celebration rally.
“The rally is being organised to celebrate the successful conclusion of the electoral process and to demonstrate the unity solidarity and collective strength of workers and pensioners and the entire organised labour in Osun State.
“All workers pensioners and afliate are hereby strictly directed to mobilise their members for full attendance.”
The declaration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the governorship election in Osun State on August 16, 2026 marks the conclusion of an electoral process in the state.
