Lagos Community Heads Commence Divisional PVC Sensitisation Engagement In Epe Tuesday

Lagos State Baales Forum on Monday said it has concluded plans to commence its divisional civic awareness, Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration sensitisation and community engagement exercise for Epe Division.
Convener of the Lagos State Baales Forum, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, who disclosed this to journalists in Lagos, said the decision was informed by the successful launch of the campaign in the Ikorodu Division.
He said the critical grassroots mobilization event is scheduled for Tuesday, 7th July 2026, at the Ibeju Lekki Local Government Secretariat starting at 10:00 AM prompt.
Bamigbade explained that the initiative, running under the strategic theme “Operation Show Your PVC,” is a collaborative effort between the Lagos State government and traditional grassroots leaders.
He said the initiative is designed to drive mass voter registration, enhance community security, and foster active civic participation ahead of the upcoming general elections.
According to Bamigbade, the audience being targeted audience include, the general public, royal fathers, Baales, youth groups, and first-time voters, adding that the high-profile community engagement will feature prominent government officials, political leaders, and traditional caretakers:
He said the Minister of Education who is from that division of Lagos State, Dr. Tunji Alausa, will host the programme with other co-hosts like, the Chairman of Conference 57 (the umbrella body of Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State), Fatai Adekunle Ayoola, Director General of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-KOH ICG).

The core objectives of the campaign we tagged, “Operation Show Your PVC” campaign is anchored on four fundamental pillars of Educating grassroots residents on the immense value of obtaining, collecting, and safeguarding their PVCs: Promoting democratic inclusion and ensuring the volume of votes reflects the massive population of Lagos State.’’
