The footage, shared by the social media account updateking first shows a shirtless man surrounded by a crowd of onlookers along a roadside, with tension visibly building as bystanders gather around him.
A subsequent clip shows a person swimming through murky, fast-moving floodwaters beneath what appears to be a bridge, having reportedly leapt in to avoid being caught.
