The Ohio native was arrested on Sunday, August 23, in East Palestine, Ohio, after allegedly arranging to pay $140 to a woman for sex at a trailer park. He reportedly used his mobile device to set up the meet after responding to an ad posted on a popular prostitution website.
Authorities arrived at the scene and arrested him after finding the mobile phone he used in his possession. York was booked into the county jail on two separate charges: one count of engaging in prostitution and one count of possessing criminal tools.
The businessman later cut a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges. One count of disorderly conduct and one count of possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to pay $1,150 in fines and was also sentenced to a day in jail.

4The business tycoon was caught and arrested at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community on Sunday after he made plans to pay a woman for sex. The arrangement was reportedly part of an undercover police operation; however, his arrest at that location was purely coincidental.
According to The Blast, the owner of the East Palestine community revealed that Wheat Hill wasn’t the designated meet-up point for the team owner and the worker.
The Chief of Police for East Palestine, Chief Weingart, revealed in a Facebook statement that York was apprehended at the trailer park because he had pulled over there. The original meet-up location was reportedly far from where the father of two was arrested.
Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community is described as an “all-ages community,” with essential amenities such as water and sewer services, access roads, and a school bus stop at the entrance.
