Social commentator VeryDarkMan has criticised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his decision to present his certificate of return to former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan questioned why a sitting governor would present his certificate of return to a minister, arguing that Adeleke’s position as governor should place him above such a gesture.
In a statement shared online, the activist described Adeleke as a “political puppet” while expressing his disapproval of what he considered an unusual political move.
“Ademola Adeleke is a political puppet cause tell me why you are presenting your certificate of return to Nyseom Wike, a minister. You’re a governor for crying out loud,” VeryDarkMan said.
His remarks have since sparked reactions among social media users, with some agreeing with his criticism while others argued that the presentation could simply be a political gesture or show of respect rather than an indication of political control.
