Commitment , Sacrifice Build Lasting Home — Komaiya

The wife of the senior pastor of The Master’s Place International Church, Warri, Delta State, Pastor Esther Komaiya, has said that commitment and sacrifice are essential to building a lasting marriage.

Komaiya stated this as she celebrated her 29th wedding anniversary with her husband, Pastor Korede Komaiya, describing their journey as a testimony of love, faith, sacrifice and growth.

In a tribute titled: ‘To My King,’ Esther described her husband as a rare gift from God, expressing gratitude for his commitment, sacrifice and unwavering support throughout their marriage.

She recalled that their marriage began on August 16, 1997, and thanked her husband for standing by her through the years.

“Thank you for the strength that never bowed under pressure,” she said.

Esther also appreciated Korede for his patience and support, saying he had created room for her to thrive.

According to her, their marriage taught her that commitment and sacrifice were fundamental to building a lasting home.

“You showed me that marriage is first sacrificial before it becomes beneficial,” she stated.

She further said she had never regretted accepting Korede as her husband, describing him as more than a good man or strong partner.

“You are a rare gift from God. Not a good man. Not a strong partner. A divine covering. A rare gift,” she said.

Reflecting on their 29 years together, Esther attributed the longevity of their marriage to their faith in God.

“We are not just a couple who endured. We are a couple helped by God,” she stated.

She reaffirmed her commitment to her husband, saying she continued to choose, honour and appreciate him as they marked another milestone in their marital journey.
